Affiliate Quick Start Guide

Congratulations & welcome to the PQM Affiliate Program. We are excited to have you and help you quickly jump start working with our program.

To help you get started on your Affiliate Journey we have created this quick start guide and subsequent tips for success pages to help you make the most of our PQM Affiliate program.

1. Sign in your account

When being approved, you will receive a notification email including affiliate log in link. Sign in your account using the email and password which are used to sign up.

2. Get started with affiliate account

Your affiliate account would look like this:

On the first time getting to know the system, you should explore from the bottom tab to the top (recommended):

2.1. Click on Guidetab to read this instruction and find more great tips;

2.2. On Settings, you can complete your personal details so merchant can know you better, then click Save changesto save your updates:

Especially, in order to get paid, you need to provide your payment details so merchant can process payment. Click on Paymenttab to add payment information:

2.3. On Marketing tools, you can approach the collection of media assets that our marketing team provides in order to help you promote PQM better.

The promotion media are in form of images with link (optional) so you can download, get embed code (to add on your website) and push them on your promotion channels.

2.4. You can keep track of your earning and payment status on Commissionand Paymenttab.

2.5 On the Dashboard, you can access and copy your Affiliate link(which is auto generated by our system when you are approved), or Affiliate coupon (For future promotional events). Moreover, you can observe your overall performance on Dashboardincluding Commission amount, Clicks, Orders and Sales.

3. Get resources for promotion

There are numerous promotion resources that are provided for you to promote PQM:

Affiliate link
Affiliate link is show on Dashboard, which is the first thing you see when you log in to your affiliate account.

Whenever a customer clicks on the affiliate link and makes a purchase (tracked by web cookie), you will get commission.

Beside the auto-generated affiliate link, affiliate can also generate a specific link for a specific product.

Also, you have an option to Generate referral link with source, add affiliate link with specific source code to track where your conversion is from (for example: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

You can also get a shortened link (Bitly link) to make the link more minimalized. Plus, social sharing buttons are visible and super handy for you to share on your social accounts.

Coupon code
In the future, you can be assigned with one or multiple coupons. Copy the coupon and insert it on your promotional content, whenever customer buys and applies the coupon, affiliate will get commission.

Media assets
As mentioned before, you can also download pre-made banners, logos or other images that are shared by the PQM Marketing Team, which you can then publish on your channels.

4. How to Start Promoting!

Now that you understand how the system works, you can now start working as an ambassador. Below are the most popular and effective ways to promote your affiliate campaign:


Direct to Market Sales

One of the simplest methods to help promoting is direct to market sales. Calling customer’s, you know are looking for our products. You can have a direct personal conversation that is tailored and can answer any questions about our products.

Remember when using this method to ensure you send an affiliate link or coupon code to purchase products via our website. Letting your client know this is how you are credited with their purchases will help ensure you get the commissions you deserve. That said, if you are concerned about a customer, email us and we can add that customer’s email directly to your affiliate account.
 Note: For larger wholesale orders email to follow our traditional sales agent process and register your leads.

Email Marketing

Believe it or not, email marketing is NOT just buying a list of 100,000 random emails and spamming them day after day with affiliate offers! (It’s about building a relationship with your customers).  Some types of marketing emails:

Content Emails – these consist of short, informative emails that offer a few tips, or advice they can use.  You can also share OTHER people’s content that you find helpful (blog posts, videos, etc.)
Relationship Building Emails – Videos of yourself that you filmed.  Social Media is great too, invite your list to connect with you on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
Sales & Promotional Emails – If you already have a newsletter or email list.

Social Media

Posts on social media can be in form of text, photo or video, depending on each social platform that you need to create and post relevant content. Especially, You need to formulate a content strategy and use a mix of content types, preferably the ones that your audience will most like.

For example, some influencers keep their feed to focus on just their chosen fields and do not mix work posts with posts about their personal life.

Moreover, putting the promotion product elegantly on your post would both increase the effectiveness and avoid annoying your audiences with blatant advertisements.

Create Promotional Video

Video marketing is becoming a popular method for influencers and affiliates to do their work. The percentage of time people spending on watching videos is increasing through years. Also, video is the type of content that has the most engagement among all the content types. Influencer video marketing has various forms and each influencer chooses their own way to put the product into video content, the most trendy video content types these days are: product review videos, How-to videos, product demo videos, Vlogs, Unboxing videos, opinion vlogs or other creative videos.

Blog promotion

If you run or own a blog. Using blog post, you can mention the product as well as insert a link to the destination website so visitors can get more details (remember to insert a link with your own tracking code so you can observe your performance).

Running Ads

‌Running Google Ads and Facebook Ads would be the fastest and most direct way to approach potential customers. But as running Ads, you spend money in exchange for conversion by customers, this method is likely more suitable for professional affiliates who are already having a proper amount of capital to maintain their Ads cost before actually getting commission back.

Word of caution: online advertising platforms have strict rules and policies please ensure you understand how to promote ads via these channels as it is not straight forward and may require sales funnels, landing pages or other methods to gather leads or sales.

5. Keep track and get Paid

After making sales, you will able to keep track of your performance right on your affiliate account through graphics charts showing the total number of clicks, orders and sales you’ve made on Dashboard.

On Commissiontab, you can see your earnings and commission details as well as their status (approved/denied/pending).

When a commission is paid, you can view payment details and the list of paid commissions on Paymenttab.
